1. OXO Good Grips ($50)

Cold-brew coffee is best when the grounds steep directly in water for hours, and the OXO makes the rest of the process easy. Just flip a switch to begin draining the brew into the carafe. The metal filter cuts sediment to a minimum. Buy it at Amazon.

2. Cuisinart DCB-10 ($80)

Cuisinart's brewer dramatically accelerates the steeping process by spinning and shaking. The coffee won't be as tasty, but it's "totally acceptable," and it can be ready in just 25 minutes, as opposed to, say, 24 hours. Add a paper filter to cut sediment. Buy it at Amazon.

3. Takeya ($20)

A great value option, the Takeya is an immersion brewer with a mesh pouch to hold the grounds. Its BPA-free, dishwasher-safe carafe is so leak-proof you could even store it in the fridge on its side. Buy it at Amazon.

4. KitchenAid Cold Brew Coffee Maker ($75)

Great for making big batches of cold brew, KitchenAid's 28-ounce vat has a stainless-steel spigot up front for easy serving right out of the refrigerator. It also has a handle for toting coffee to a picnic or the porch. Buy it at Amazon.

5. Yama Cold Brew Drip Tower ($250)

"A tower of caffeinated awesomeness," the Yama employs the same drip process as some cheaper devices but does the job with a lot more flair. It uses a ceramic filter and is available in 8- and 25-cup sizes. Buy it at Amazon.
