Logan
(20th Century Fox, $30)

(MPI Home Video, $25)

In this subtle drama, the 64-year-old French actress somehow turns a story about midlife divorce and other setbacks into “a parable of liberation.” In every scene, she projects both fragility and “a fierce refusal to go down without a fight.”

(Lionsgate, $35)
