Hotel of the week
Hôtel Les Roches Rouges
Côte d’Azur, France
The French Riviera has become synonymous with high-end glamour, said Adam Leith Gollner in Travel + Leisure. “But there’s another side to the region—one that’s charming, low-key, and a little rugged.” Hôtel Les Roches Rouges, a once tacky midcentury seaside inn, has recently been transformed by a five-star upgrade into the perfect gateway to that other Côte d’Azur. Set into red cliffs right on the water, the hotel has dozens of rooms facing the sea, and spoils diners with classic Provençal fare. Its sea-fed pool is “a marvel,” perched just above the crashing waves.
