Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been admitted to the hospital after a fall, the Supreme Court's Office of Public Information said Thursday.

Ginsburg fell in her office Wednesday evening and went to the George Washington University Hospital on Thursday morning, BuzzFeed News' Chris Geidner‏ reports. She had initially gone home after the fall but experienced discomfort overnight. Hospital tests Thursday subsequently showed that Justice Ginsburg fractured three ribs, and she has now been admitted for observation and treatment.
